Treefera Joins IMDA Spark – Singapore's Programme for Promising Deep Tech Companies

We are proud to announce that Treefera has been selected as an IMDA Spark company – a designation awarded by Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority to an exclusive cohort of high-potential infocomm and media startups building technologies with real-world impact.

What is IMDA Spark?

IMDA Spark is a programme by IMDA that supports promising early-stage infocomm and media startups in Singapore.

The programme identifies high-potential companies through collaboration with ecosystem partners and leading venture capital firms, and helps connect them with industry partners, investors and government support networks.

Spark is not an accelerator or a grant programme. It is a signal of credibility and capability – a formal recognition that a company's technology, team and trajectory merit investment from Singapore's broader innovation ecosystem.

The Selection Process

Companies are selected into IMDA Spark through a rigorous evaluation led by IMDA, which assesses startups based on several factors, including:

• technological differentiation and innovation
• strength of the founding team
• market opportunity and scalability
• relevance to Singapore’s digital economy and industry needs

Being selected for IMDA Spark signals that a startup’s technology and business model show strong promise within Singapore’s digital innovation landscape.
